I wonder what you've most enjoyed on-line while we've all been isolating at home. The good weather meant I've spent plenty of time in the garden - as have many members to whom I have spoken. The garden looks rather tidier as a result but I haven't followed up as much of the on-line art as I might otherwise. But I did specially enjoy the National Theatre's imaginative production of Jane Eyre and the singing in Cosi Fan Tutte from the Royal Opera House (but not the set, which I thought drab). I also caught the YouTube re-run of the 25th anniversary production of The Phantom of the Opera from the Albert Hall. Lovely to see at the end Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman from the original cast.
Of course, for me a highlight was also the replay of two of England's greatest cricket days from last summer......
This week I'm hoping to get into more of the on-line art talks. Then there is that pesky art quiz to work on ....
You are in for a real treat with this! This is without a doubt the most incredible piece of writing I've ever read. Because of you, it is turning out to be a much better day.
