Though museums and galleries have closed their doors for now, thought-provoking art can still be found in the most unexpected of places.
From spray-paint to sculpture, Street Art has the ability to both stand out and assimilate into a place, I sometimes forget how extraordinary it is to give directions involving elephants to lost delivery drivers. Reading Doug Gillen's Instant Expert has made me determined to spend more time appreciating the art I find in my new everyday. Have you seen any amazing art during your lockdown walks?

An old photo that my son has enhanced. Shows how we may be feeling now.
This was a photo I took at the cultural centre, where I went to learn all about the new legislation for non-profit associations
This image will be very familiar to members of The Arts Society Falmouth.
Street artist Marc Craig worked with the young siblings of children who have autism - they came up with the ideas and helped him paint it on the wall leaving the car park in central Falmouth.
Thank you everyone for sharing your pictures!
Here’s one we chanced upon in the Algarve.
this was not a lockdown walk but a stroll through the streets of Naples where street art is so alive. this street art is inspired from "Modesty" one of the virtues sculpted so magnificently at the Sansevero chapel
I have heard one of Doug Gillen's lectures for The Arts Society - he is excellent and well worth booking. He inspired me to go on a guided graffiti walk in London: an eye-opening experience well worth taking on.
